1.0. Position:- Rodent Trainers (7 Post) Morogoro

QUALIFICATIONS:-


§     Possession of a Secondary School Certificate.
§     Excellent spoken and written English
DUTIES:

§     Taking care and socialization of Rats.
§     Pre-training of Rats.
§     Train demining Rats from Clicker training,Indication ,sand floor,T-Eggs,3M,5M and advanced stage
§     Training rats to detect TB (Tuberculosis)
§     Monitor Rats health progress and report accordingly
§     Make sure Rats houses are clean and maintained well
§     Update,Monitor and report Rats information on daily basis
§     Feeding Rats as needed
§     Participate in weekend duties and performing other duties as may be assigned

2.0. Position:- Driver III (1 Post) Dar-es-Salaam


QUALIFICATIONS


§     Possession of a Secondary School Education Certificate
§     Valid driving licence class “C”
§     Possession of Advanced Driver’s Certificate Grade II from NIT or Truck Driving Certificate from VETA/NVTC/NVTD.
§     Relevant working experience of atleast 3 years from reputable institution
DUTIES

§     Driving Project Vehicles
§     Up keeping Log books
§     Ensuring safe keeping of vehicle and its tools
§     Ensuring Cleanliness of the Vehicle
§     Renew motorvehicle licence and insurance timely
§     Reporting major defect or problems detected
§     Perform Messengerial duties such as dispatching letters/documents
§     Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by a superior

3.0. Position:-Laboratory Attendant I (Sample Collector) (2 Post) Dar-es-Salaam


QUALIFICATIONS:-


§     Possession of a Secondary School Certificate
§     Valid driving licence class A
§     Computer certificate
DUTIES:-

§     Collecting samples in DOTS centres as instructed with proper labelling/documentation
§     Sending samples timely for testing by rats
§     Delivering APOPO TB detection results to District TB and Leprosy Coordinators (DTLCs) as instructed
§     Be responsible for monitoring the performance of SUA-APOPO equipments such as freezers installed in DOTS centres with respective thermometers.
§     Checking and recording of tempeture charts
§     Delivering official documents to offices as instructed by the team leader
§     Communicating with fellow staff members OPENLY, HONESTLY AND TIMELY on the progress, challenges and other issues that may arise and affect the project.
§     Collaborating in respectful manner with all hospital staff members,MKUTA volunteers and other partners to ensure smooth and timely implementation of SUA-APOPO activities
§     Performing any other duties related as may be assigned by a superior

4.0. Position:- Field Attendant I- (Gardener) (1 Post) Dar-es-Salaam


QUALIFICATIONS:-

Possession of a Secondary School Certificate.

DUTIES:-


§     Planting flowers and grasses.
§     Regularly watering and pruning the grass ,flowers etc
§     Keeping the surrounding environment clean.
§     Making sure all compound dustbin are regularly emptied and burning the garbage in a proper way at a right time
§     Safe keep the relevant working tools.
§     Perform any other duties related as may be assigned by a superior
