Legal Volunteers Position Description:
Duties and
responsibilities will ensure the suitable individual…
a) Carries out research on relevant legal and environmental/human rights issues
b) Conducts community empowerment programs
c) Analyses data on environmental/human rights issues
d) Complies information and keeps records on environmental /human rights issues
e) Drafts prescribed legal documents and submit them to the respective supervisor for approval
f) Briefs senior officers on collected information and advices on measures to be taken
g) Assists in preparing court cases
h) Carries other duties as directed by senior officers

Qualification and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution; must be computer literate with work experience of at least one year in the field.
