Description:
The Quality and
Performance Institute (QPI) is a division of URC that has implemented
quality improvement and operations research programs in health care since 1981
and continues to be at the cutting edge of health care improvement work in countries
around the world.
The positions below are
available for candidates who are eligible to work in Tanzania for an indefinite
period without a need for sponsorship.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical
leadership in the development and implementation of overall monitoring and
evaluation framework for project implementation
- Lead for data
collection, analysis and use of key health and process indicators
- Primary responsibility
for quality of monitoring data from the field; including use in reports
and community feedback on performance; who the lead on general report
production to the donor.
- Supervise M&E team
and technical consultants
Job
Requirements:
- Master’s degree, in
either International development, Social Sciences, Demography,
Epidemiology or any related field
- 5-7 years of relevant
work experience and a proven track record.
- Excellent and proven
data management skills and experience including usage of statistical
software.
- Good command of data
analysis packages for quantitative data
- A strong team player
with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a
fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and
oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to review,
synthesize information and produce quality reports
- Proven self-starter
and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Flexibility to travel
on a regular basis.
- Professional level of
oral and written fluency in English language
