JOB TITLE: Zonal LLIN Coordinator (Mwanza and Tabora)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Program Manager-Logistics
Job Purpose:
Coordinate PSI-Tanzania’s malaria prevention activities, with particular focus on maintaining Long Lasting Insecticidal Net (LLIN) coverage through Schools (SNP), antenatal (ANC) and immunization (EPI) channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate PSI-Tanzania’s malaria prevention activities, with particular focus on:
Logistics- ensure VectorWorks work plan and activities are implemented as per PSI’s SOW in respect to the associated deliverables
Monitor and manage the Supply chain for school net program
and health facility program.
Distribution support-
o Coordinate and Liaise with the authorities of the government structures at national/Zonal(MOHCDGEC,PO RALG and MSD), regional(RAS and RMO) and district(DED and DMO) level to ensure mutual collaboration between these structures and the VectorWorks project
o Work with the supply chain, warehouse team to ensure effective plans are developed to for timely receipts and transportation and delivery of LLINs to target areas
o Schedule, coordinate and report on the quarterly LLINs distribution with MSD
o Work with operation team (central, zonal to regional levels) and MSD to review and ensure regional plans related to VectorWorks are done with perfection and reports are submitted timely.
2. Support the development of work plans and donor reports
o Prepare routine program reports as required including financial and other reports as required by donors and PSI
o Contribute to ensuring timely submission of reports through MIS reporting system according to donor deliverables
3. Provide assistance where necessary to the NMCP and MSD in program design, resource mobilization, and planning and implementation.
4. Proactively engage with regional partners, including MSD, PMO-RALG, Malaria Focal
Academic & Professional Qualification
Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience in related field
Relevant working experience:
In-depth knowledge of local and global Malaria issues
In depth knowledge of MSD data collection and reporting tools
At least three years of experience in supply chain management or sales and distribution
In depth Knowledge of the regional and district structures of Tanzania including DHMTS and CHMTS.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Swahili
Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast paced environment
