SUB EDITOR GENERAL NEWS- THE CITIZEN ONE POST

To edit story, write captions, place picture and write headlines conformity with journalistic ethic editorial objective and house style within the seat deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Check and correct editorial copy allocated by the chiefs sub –editor for facts, accuracy taste house style language use clarity details objectivity and spellings

- Sub-copy to fit allocated space without distorting facts or dispensing with the silent post

- Rewrite the appropriate headline for the copy ensuring the chief sub-editor within seat deadlines

- Make up the editor page as directed by the chiefs sub-editor
