Position Summary:
Based in Agriteam’s
National Project Office and reporting to the Canadian Project Director, the
Field Manager will be responsible for the overall field operations of an
agriculture project managed by Agriteam Canada in Ethiopia. Working in
partnership with the Project Director, s/he will oversee the operations of the
project in Ethiopia, translating the strategic direction and mandate of the
project, as defined through a series of annual work plans, into project outcome
results.
Education Requirements
® Master’s Degree required, preferably
in agriculture or rural development.
Qualifications Required:
® Dynamic, independent, results-driven leader
® 10+ years of project management experience in an international development setting
® 10+ years working on projects focused on agriculture growth, governance and/or governance reform for social and economic growth and development
® Strong expertise and skills in relationship building, including creating and sustaining high performing teams
® Writes and speaks English at a highly proficient level
® Willing to relocate to Ethiopia for a minimum of two years.
