with educational training, and career development through training, guidance and counseling, currently operates in Dar es salaam.
Elimisha Initiative (EI) seeks to recruit qualified, energetic and committed candidate for the post of Training Officer.
Position: Training Officer (90 posts)
Reporting to: Program Team Leader
Location: Lake Zone (Mwanza, Mara, Kagera, Simiyu, Geita, Shinyanga)
Key Responsibilities
· To maintain training atmosphere during course content delivery
· To initiate group discussion during course content in order to allow a room for easy understand
· Ensure all necessary included on the training manual are delivered efficiently and effectively
· Provide all support needed to ensure the targeted group is comfortable with the training and well implemented
· Asses the whole process of training in order to make sure course content is well delivered
· Report all necessary information to the program team leader
· Prepare quality activity reports required
· To supervise group activities during training sessions
· Provide quality and competent training and support services to a specific group of people as described on the course content
Requirements
· Bachelor degree in education (Bed) Bachelor of Arts with Education (BaEd), psychology or counseling courses. Diploma holder in Sociology, social work.
· Experience on teaching or presentation
· Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative required
· Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Power point; Excel and e-mail required.
· Swahili and good English written and oral skills required.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and have excellent problem solving abilities.
· Team player, excellent personal and cooperation skills are essential
· Must be available and willing to work at irregular hours and on weekends as the situation and schedule may require.
