Tabora Urban Water and Sanitations Authority is the one of the competitively in Tanzania water supplying clean ans safe water and efficient sanitations services in Tabora Municipality.
The Authority is seeking for qualify candidates for the post here
1. HUMAN RESOURCES
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of a university degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administrations or equivalent qualifications with good working knowledge of ICT applications, knowledge of labor laws and employment Act
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Advice on recruitment and selections of human resources required by the authority in the right quantity and quality at the right time and for the right department selections
Supervise maintenance of human resources records to ensure they correctly maintained and standard procedures at the right time to recruit, grading, salaries, training, promoting and leave administrative are observed by the department /sections
Coordinates annual staff performance appraisal to ensure it is carried out correctly
Prepare man power development and training plans for the authority
Conducts open performance review and appraisal of subordinates and gives feedback
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor
Age limit not above 45 years
2. LEGAL SECRETARY II
QUALIFICATION
o Holder degree in Law from recognized institutions who is registered as advocate of the High Court with not than less 3 years experience as prating lawyer
o Must have good communications and interpersonal skills and working knowledge of ICT applications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o works consultations with other heads of department to ensure that decision and actions taken by the authority are legal, proper and appropriate and ethical
o prepare and maintain minutes of the boards decisions and maintain in safe custody board records and contact
o document and distribute all boards resolutions to responsible officers as directly by the managing director
o in liaison with human resource officer present and defend the authority interest and industrial disputes
o develops individual objectives targets performance standard as part of the individual performance agreement in consultations with the immediate supervisor
AGE LIMIT not above 45 years
3. INTERNAL AUDITOR II
QUALIFICATIONS
o Degree in accounting with CPA or equivalent qualifications with 3 years relevant experience as an internal auditor and registered with NBAA as CPA-PP
o Should have good working knowledge of the public finance and public procurement acts and other relevant regulations good working knowledge of computer software packages and applications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all auditing activities in the authority and advice the managing director of all financial as an internal issues
Examine the effectives of all management in the utilizations of the authority resources and their compliance with the established policies procedure and decision and prepares quarterly semi-annual and annual internal report
Undertake special investigations of suspected frauds or misappropriations committed and procedure reports thereof
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
4. ACCOUNTANT ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS
holder a bachelor degrees in accounting and finance or equivalent qualifications with 3 years relevant experience in constructions works
must have good working knowledge of ICT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
recommends fault water supply and sewage structures for rehabilitations
design and supervise extensions of water distributions lines
prepare bills of the quantities and estimate for water and sewage works
perform any other duties as ma be assigned by immediately supervisor
5. TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATIONS
Holder diploma in FTC in Civil /Environmentally engineering equivalent qualifications and 3 years experience in constructions works
Must have good working knowledge
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Advice the planning and constructions engineering or issues pertaining to constructions of water supply and sewage networks
Recommends faulty water supply and sewage structure for rehabilitations
Design and supervise extension of water distributes
Prepare bills of quantities ( BOQ) AND ESTMATE for water and sewage works
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
6. DRIVER
QUALIFICATIONS
Posses form IV secondary education and Class C valid driving license and trade taste III or advanced certificates grade III from recognized institutions VETA/NIT
With not less than 3 years driving experience
DUTIES
Drive vehicles safely and taking into the accountant traffic laws, safety of passengers and other road users and values of the work
Parks vehicle at safe locations to ensure it is not stolen or vandalized
Carries out minor vehicles repairs
Maintenance service when is due
Keep records of fuel and tyres filled with logbook
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
