our client features walkthrough exhibits that take advocacy directly into the world of the animals. Our client has currently been legally incorporated by the relevant authorities/ agencies to launch its thorough, excellent, effective and Internationally acclaimed Park / Game operations in Tanzania effective from January , 2017. The Operations will be on-going and continuous for a minimum period of 11 years and a maximum period of 13 years depending on the funding from its Global Partners.
The successful candidates will have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and demonstrate a consistently proactive and flexible approach to work. With previous experience working in a park/game based role within a collection, the successful candidates may have the opportunity to work across all three sections within the department (Hoofstock, Carnivores and Primates and Presentations) and therefore the positions would suit multi-skilled animal keepers.
POSITION TITLE: Chief Park warden
OPENINGS: 8 openings
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Park Security
ii. Enforcement of Park Laws
iii. Preparation of park budges
iv. Liaison with other organization who are involved in game parks
Qualifications:
i. Have served in the grade of Senior Warden for at least 2 years.
ii. Have shown considerable technical capability in practical park management and administration.
iii. Must have a Degree in wildlife Management. A Diploma in range Management will be an added advantage.
iv. Must have undergone paramilitary training.
Requirements:

POSITION TITLE: Senior warden
OPENINGS: 19 openings
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Deputize the Chief Forest /game warden
ii. Allocation of daily duties to officers below him
iii. Oversea general rangers administration and enforcement of park / game laws
Qualifications:
i. Have served in the grade of Warden I for at least 1 year
ii. Must have Bachelor Degree in either Environment, Physical or Biological Science
iii. Have shown considerable competence in Park ,Environment Management and Administration
iv. Have undergone paramilitary training
Requirements:

POSITION TITLE: Park Rangers
OPENINGS: 126 openings
AGE LIMIT: Not above 28 years of age
Duty Station: National Parks
Responsibilities:
• Conducting patrol activities
• Providing guard services in the Park
• Receiving and sending radio messages during patrols
• Undertaking cleaning functions at the ranger posts
• Arresting offenders
• Attending cases/court hearings, giving evidence in wildlife
cases
• Participating in early fire burning and suppression activities
• Collecting information on unusual events and monitoring activities
• Writing patrol reports
• Participating in rescue operations.
Qualifications:
-At Least Form IV Certificate with Basic Certificate in Wildlife Conservation
-Candidates with Certificate in basic military training from the National Service will be considered for recruitment but will have to undergo a thorough basic field training conducted by the Agency immediately after the final selection.
