30 Employment Opportunities - Workers Compensation Fund (WCF)


Job Description

Workers Compensation Fund (WCF) is a Social Security Scheme established in accordance with Section 5 of the Workers Compensation Act (Cap 263 R.E of 2015). The main purpose for the Fund is to provide for adequate and equitable compensation for employees who suffer occupational injuries or contract occupational diseases arising out of,
and in the course of their employment and in case of death, for their dependents. The Fund started its operations on 1st July 2015. All employers in the public and private sectors in Mainland Tanzania are compulsorily required to contribute to the Fund.

The Fund invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates who are computer literate to fill the following vacant positions:

1. Principal Internal Auditor II -1 post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Master Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution who holds CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualifications recognized by NBAA with working experience of least seven (7) years in related field

2. Principal ICT Officer Grade II (Database Administration) – 1 post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least seven(7) years in related field

3. ICT Officer (Computer Analyst) II – 1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years in related field

4. Senior Finance Officer Grade I (Tax Matters) – 1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (majoring in Accountancy), Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualification recognized by NBAA and must be registered with working experience of at least five (5) in related field

5. Finance Officers Grade II – 2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (majoring in Accountancy), Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Must have basic knowledge in the application of accounting packages

6. Senior Investment Officer Grade II – 1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Investment Analysis, Development Finance and Investment Planning, Business Administration, Marketing, Trade, International Business, Business Economics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field

7. Senior Compliance Officer Grade II -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Social Security Administration, Social Protection, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field

8. Compliance Officer Grade II -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Social Security Administration, Social Protection, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution

9. Senior Claims Administration Officer II -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Social Security Administration, Social Protection, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field

10. Claims Administration Officer II -2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Social Security Administration, Social Protection, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution

11. Senior Statistician Grade II -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Agriculture Economics and Agribusiness, Economic Planning, Development Economics, Labour Economics, Project Planning and Management, Statistics, Development Finance and Investment Planning or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field

12. Senior Risk Assessment Officer Grade II – 2post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Medicine, Engineering (Mechanical, Geological, Environmental, Electrical, Chemical) , Environmental Science, Risk Management or other related field from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field. Possession of Certificates of Risk management (CRM) or any related qualification is an added advantage

13. Senior Claims Assessment Officer Grade II – 1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Medicine,Occupational Health and Safety,Occupational Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years related field

14. Claims Assessment Officer Grade II – 2post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Medicine,Occupational Health and Safety,Occupational Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution who has completed internship

15. Procurement Officer Grade I -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Procurement and Supplies, Materials Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Commerce (majoring in Procurement and Supplies) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least three (3) years related field

16. Occupational Health and Safety Officer Grade II -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Medicine, Environment, Public Health, Engineering, Occupational Health or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

17. Call Centre Officer II -2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Mass Communication, Journalism or any other field from a recognized institution who has computer skills in Windows Operation System, e-mail and data entry skills and excellent verbal communication in both English and Swahili

18. Records Management Officer Grade II -2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Records management, Documentation, Archives oe equivalent from a recognized institution

19. Records Management Assistant -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Diploma in Records management, Documentation, Archives oe equivalent from a recognized institution

20. Receptionist -2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of a Certificate in Telephone Operation, Reception, Front Office or equivalent from a recognized institution. Knowledge of Computer will be an added advantage

21. Driver -1post
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Form IV Certificate and a Class “C1 or E” Driving License who has attended Basic Driving Course from National Institute of Transport, Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) or any recognized Institution plus a clean driving record for at least one year. Possession of Trade Test Grade II Certificate in Motor Vehicle Driving, Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Auto Electrician will be an added advantage

22. Office Assistant -2posts
Qualifications and Experience
– Holder of Form IV Certificate with at least passes in English and Kiswahili. Certificate in Office Administration will be an added advantage
