Sky-high Development Initiative through its’ Sky-high Education Centre
wishes to
Employ Teaching Team for Nursery, Primary and
Secondary School for both School
and Private Candidates.
These positions are for qualified, educated,
and motivated professionals, who are flexible and able to deliver and archive
to the set target.
The generalised qualifications and
requirements for these positions are listed below and detailed requirements provided
to each position.
Below
are general requirements;
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant
field for Secondary School (For School and
Private Candidates).
2. A Certificate or Diploma in relevant field
for Primary School Teachers.
3. Highly driven, able to prepare plans,
develop and teach programs catered for the need
of each individual child in their care.
4. Ability to interact comfortably with staff
members and senior officials.
5. Excellent written and verbal Kiswahili and
English skills.
6. Able to incorporate a variety of teaching
techniques including usage of computer.
7. Able to maintain open communications with
parents and work colleagues in building
and maintaining a supportive and encouraging
team environment.
8. Able to keep and update ongoing records of
children and prepare reports.
9. Proven ability to deliver required
outputs.
10. An applicant should be a person living in
Mlandizi Township
Positions and specific requirements
1) Physics and Mathematics Teacher
Duty station: Mlandizi
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Plan, Prepare and Present lessons that
cater for the needs of the whole ability range
within the class
2. Be able to manage and organize the
classroom and learning resources to create a
positive learning environment.
3. facilitate learning engagements which are
challenging, meaningful, relevant and/or
engaging for all students, providing
differentiated learning engagements when
necessary
4. Design effective formative and summative
assessments, use a range of assessment
tools and strategies
5. Maintain Assessment records
6. Set high standards of behaviour amongst
pupils in the class and across the school;
7. Look after school equipment and resources
and teach children in the class to do the
same;
8. Support school initiatives and events,
some of which may be after school hours;
9. Attend departmental meetings and whole
School Staff meetings as indicated by the
Head of School;
10. Be willing to work in a small and young
school environment with aims of investing
massive efforts to boost its development
2) History and English Teacher
Duty station: Mlandizi
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Plan, Prepare and Present lessons that

Duty station: Mlandizi
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Must be competent in teaching either
Mathematics, Science ,Geography, history or
civics subjects in Primary School
2. Must be fluent in English and preferably
studied ordinary level education in an
English-medium School.
3. Be ready to organize and lead activities
designed to promote physical, mental and
social development, such as games, arts and
crafts and music
4. Be able to Establish effective and regular
communication with parents, including
reporting to parents on the development,
progress and attainment of pupils through
parent meetings and school reports
5. Look after school equipment and resources
and teach children to do the same;
6. Support school initiatives and events,
some of which may be after school hours;
7. Attend departmental meetings and whole
School Staff meetings as indicated by the
Head of School;
8. Be willing to work in a small and young
school environment with aims of investing
massive efforts to boost its development
4) Nursery School Teacher
Duty station: Mlandizi
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Manages day-to-day functions of the
Nursery School and competent in teaching Pre-
Unit Children
2. Must be fluent in English and preferably
studied ordinary level education in an
English-medium school.
3. Be ready to organize and lead activities
designed to promote physical, mental and
social development, such as games, arts and
crafts and music
4. Set high standards of behaviour amongst
pupils in the class and across the school;
5. Look after school equipment and resources
and teach children to do the same;
6. Support school initiatives and events,
some of which may be after school hours;
7. Attend departmental meetings and whole
School Staff meetings as indicated by the
Head of School
8. Be willing to work in a small and young
school environment with aims of investing
massive efforts to boost its development
