JOB VACANCY: OPERATIONS OFFICER

Gimunta Champion Traders Ltd (GCTL) seeks to appoint dedicated, self-motivated and highly organized Operations Officer ( 1 position) to join GCTL team.

Nature of Employment: Full Time Contract

Reporting Line: Head of Administration

Locations: Mara - Region

Work Schedule: As per GCTL Staff regulations

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

 Responsible for the overall operations of the master warehouse and all sales points

 Research, Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies

 Responsible for coordinating and follow up on projects throughout the sales process

 Develop and manage sales channels

 Monitoring employee and business performance

 Evaluating the performance of each sales depot

 Conducts account and route mapping

 Act as a link between all the sales supervisors and the company management

 Conducting and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company services to existing and new customers

 Managing market intelligence

 Customers Acquisition and Retention

 Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by the supervisor or higher authorities.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalence in Business Administration, operations management or procurement

At least two (2) years working experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in the alcoholic and beverage industry.

Experience in warehouse management will be an added advantage

Must be committed, aggressive and well organized

Be creative, flexible, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Strong administrative, organizational and managerial skills

Conversant with written and spoken English and Swahili

Attention to details

Must be computer literate
