Deloitte
Tanzania has 5 exciting opportunities for suitably qualified
individuals to join our USAID Boresha Afya project in the role
of Driver for our offices in Dar es Salaam, Njombe, Mtwara and
Lindi.
Deloitte
Tanzania in partnership with FHI360, Engender Health and Management and
Development for Health (MDH) is responsible for implementing USAID
Boresha Afya Program. USAID Boresha Afya is a five-year program
(October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2021) funded by the American People
through USAID aiming to support the Government of Tanzania (GoT) to
increase access to high quality, comprehensive and integrated health services,
especially for women and youth, with a focus on maternal, neonatal, child
and reproductive health and nutrition outcomes. Emphasis is on
comprehensive and integrated health service delivery for preventative and
curative services with regard to HIV/AIDS, Family Planning (FP),
Tuberculosis (TB), Malaria, Nutrition and Maternal and Child Health
(MCH). Deloitte Consulting Limited will implement the program in the
Southern Zone that covers the geographic area of Njombe, Iringa, Ruvuma,
Morogoro, Lindi and Mtwara.
Broad Function
The Drivers will
be responsible for ensuring smooth running of the project vehicles and
perform other administrative support duties as may be assigned.
Main
Areas of Responsibility:
- Drive the Project
vehicles as instructed by the supervisor;
- Dispatch and
collect documents to and from stakeholders and other organizations;
- Ensure
routine maintenance of the vehicle is carried out as scheduled by
the supervisor;
- Maintain the
vehicle log book for and prepare monthly vehicle
consumption report;
- Fill in the
log book the distance covered, vehicle maintenance and fuel costs;
- Ensure the
vehicle is in good condition and ready for use at all times;
- Ensure that
the vehicle is parked in a safe place;
- Ensure the
car has a valid insurance;
- Notify the
supervisor upon emergency or occurrence of any incidence regarding
the vehicle;
- Inspect
the assigned vehicle on a daily basis and notify the
supervisor on any mechanical fault; and
- Perform any
other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to
time.
Qualifications
and Experience:
- A
clean Driving License Certificate (Class
C);
- A minimum of
two (2) years’ long distance driving experience.
